Eagle Wing Whale Watching......where do i start......... Firstly i would like to say that my husband and i are absolute animal lovers and we were so excited to see whales in their natural habitat, NOT IN CAPTIVITY, it just really doesn't compare. These are the reasons why our experience so dissapointing and why you should NOT take a tour with... more

I had tried whale watching trips twice in Kaikoura, New Zealand and once in Monterey and had been disappointed. In Kaikoura, they cancelled the trips due to rough swells. However, I went on this trip to see Orcas, and got a thrill! Saw at least 20 orcas, a few within 10 yards away. Booked through Eagle Wing for the boat.... more

this business is professionally run and high on safety and fun. the day of our tour we were given the choice of visiting the resident pod of orca's or the transient pod was passing through. our group chose the latter and were given the privilage of seeing the orca's on a seal hunt. awesome!!!! our tour went for a little... more

We booked our whale watching tour thru Eagle Wing prior to our cruise trip and were told that they will meet us at the pier for pickup. Unfortunately, our tour did not go thru since we only had 3 people and it just not going to make financial sense for them to take us. Brett, the owner of this company,... more

We were a party of 6, travelled on 3 September 2008. There were 2 small children (5 and 7) and 2 who were nervous through prior sea sickness. The statements on the website were true, no-one in our party felt remotely sea-sick (although preventative medicine was taken beforehand). The kids really enjoyed themselves and yes, we did see whales -... more

I can see why this is the #1 attraction in Victoria according to Trip Advisor. Although a bit pricey (about $400 for our family of 4 with 2 small kids -- don't forget the tip!) it was well worth it. Our trip lasted 4 hours -- it left late, came back even later -- a real bonus over the 3.5... more

We did an afternoon tour in the smaller boat - in advance I was somewhat dubious about whether it would be worth the price. Brett over-delivered - 4+ hours, 100 miles covered, approximately 30 or so whales. Absolutely great. We saw some whales hunting seals they cornered on rocks; the whales breached a few times. We traveled all the way... more

We went on a morning whale watching tour. It was great. We rode the 12 passenger boat. It had 3 engines but one of our engines died. I was so afraid they would make us turn around and go back but Brett the guide did not. It was an exciting adventure. We saw 3 pods of killer whales, 4 types... more

We went whale watching with this company, and we are so glad we did! The boat is very fast, so not only is it fun, but you get to the whales faster. I've been whale watching before in a Kayak, and wasn't sure if I'd like it this way. I loved it. When the whales move further down the coast,... more

Our family of five had the pleasure to do whale watching with Eagle Wing tours. I chose this company after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor . We chose to be on the 12 passenger sportscar of the seas, the Eaglewing. Brett was our captain for the adventure. This was definitely the highlight of our pacific northwest trip. Brett's... more
