Overall London Walks is a must-do when you travel to London. There is no way a new visitor would know a fraction of what the guides do or where to find these things. There is a wide variety of walking tours within the city and day-trips out of the city to choose from, and I am certain that there are... more

This is by far, the best recommendation on London what to do. Many things in London are free, but this is one thing that is amazingly affordable and well worth the money. Their website is very informative and has a large variety of types of tours. Their guides are very knowledgable, entertaining and give lots of insight into the local... more

London is steeped in history - and it is also busy with traffic. In Central London, busy traffic roar along every main street as with every city in the world. London is also unique in having the first underground railway system in the world, affectionately known as the Tube. We live about 30 miles (48km) from London, which is easy... more

I found out about the Original London Walks from tripadvisor....yet again an absolutely marvelous recommendation! I have now done 6 London Walks over the course of three visits and have loved them all! For the price, they just can't be beat as an entertaining and informative way to get to know just a small piece of this amazing city. I... more

One of the best things I have done when visiting London is the London Walks. They have dozens of different walks given by an array of different guides. I have been on 6 or 7 so far and have found many to be great. The most famous of course is the Jack the Ripper tour which is just as good... more

I have been on four London Walks over the last two years and the guides are all genuinely nice, friendly people and everyone on the walks seem to have a great time. The walks are just about the right length for London - about a mile or so and two hours. Any more would be a bit ambitious for London... more

My husband and I just came back from a weekend in London and did two walks. The first was "Royal London & Westminster Abbey". Our guide Brian was fantastic and gave us a lot of history. I absolutely recommend this walk! Our second was the "Along the Thames" pub walk. If I were to do a pub walk again, or... more

My daughter Claire and I did the Harry Potter tour earlier this week. Our driver Michael was terrific, he brought along a DVD player and showed us a scene from the movies, pointing out the details that we would soon see for ourselves. He even took us to Abbey Road so I could get the obligatory picture crossing the road.... more

When in London, do a walk. My teens and I did the Old Westminster Walk (wonderful info about the Westminster area including parliament - ends near the Churchill War rooms), The British Museum Walk (hits big highlights - rosetta stone, Elgins marbles, Egyptian mummies and the Portland Vase) and the Harry Potter walk (not what we expected, but very interesting... more

Being a Sherlock Holmes fan, I was looking forward to the "In the Footsteps of Holmes" walk. Our tour guide was a very enthusiastic lady so I began the tour with high hopes. We began at Baker Street Station and the tour went downhill from there and I am not talking about the slope of the street. We walked around... more
