For historical value, you probably can't find a place in London that surpasses Westminster Abbey. The list of famous personages that are buried or memorialized there would require a great deal of space and can be found elsewhere on the Internet. (Try Wikipedia.) It's a magnifical monument, full of history and meaning. The Central Nave is splendorous such as the laudable recovery of the High Altar, at the time of my visit.
