An off-beat attraction that’s off the main tourist path, and located in the middle of Princes Street's shopping district is the gothic spire of Scott Monument. This momument was built in givethanks to sir Walter Scott, have an innimeral of steps but they give you a certificated of your happy climb. There´s a good walter scott referecials and you can see the better Edinburgh from there!! . Cheap, cultural and sport!! perfect mix!! more

I was very disappointed on finding that there were no toilet facilities/handwashing facilities at such an important landmark given that so many children visit the attraction annually. Otherwise i found the visit very exhilirating. more
