The Argentinian side of Iguazu is much more friendly to English speaking tourists than the Brazilian side. e.g. directional signs have English translations. Most tour groups spend only one day on the Argentinian side. You could easily spend two days to enjoy all the sights. more

Overview: Iguazu Falls is very impressive. It is not just one set of falls, but instead a whole series of falls that are spread out. It is as if the huge river is falling off of a land shelf on to the valley below. Very impressive to see and visit. You can easily spend a very full day and see... more

Iguazu Falls are simply stunning. They are thunderous, powerful, beautiful, awe-inspiring! But the crowds are not!! If you can, go to the Falls without a tour group and go early in the day to avoid the crowds. Our tour group was huge and we shuffled our way along the well-laid out paths trying to get to the viewing spots. It... more

The photographs and videos simply do not do justice to this gorgeous sub-tropical forest with the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. [I've visited Niagara Falls dozens of times and it simply isn't in the same league.] The 1985 film, Mission, comes close, however. It is not hard to imagine how the Guarani (the local indigenous people) and the... more

Iguazu Falls was one of the most impressive places that I've seen to date. We went at the end of August, and the weather was perfect. I understand that during Nov-Feb (their summer) the heat becomes unbearable. I would strongly recommend spending two days at Puerto Iguazu (where we stayed). We spent one afternoon on the lower circuit and taking... more

We went there last December so it's really hot in the day time up to 40 C. But when you're there...it's just so amazing place ever..all miles of miles of waterfalls..plus a lot of wild birds and animals seen there. We're lucky by asking the Taxi driver who dropped us off to hotel to just take us around Iguazu and... more

The argentinian side of the Iguazu falls in my opinion is better than the brazilian side, specially bc it has a train that takes you to different parts of the park. Also there is people that can help you if you need information, so I didn't have any problems. You walk a lot but everywhere you walk is nice. I... more

We booked our trip from BA to Iguazu through Esteban at BA Private Tours. It turned out to be a great value, easy transportation from airport to Hotel Cataratas, which was ample accommodations and had a great pool area. The falls were of course unbelievable and we just stayed on the Argentina side, we spent 2 full days at the... more

Loved the Parque on the Argentine side, definitely go on the boat trip that goes into the falls and walk in the Parque. Stay all day and you can see birds on the walk to the Biggest falls...but avoid the driving tours in the parque or just outside the parque in the Selva. They are ripoffs. more

We were impressed with the falls - who wouldn't be, but we had to struggle as we felt that we were grossly overcharged by Wow Argentina. They charged us a huge amount of money for very little services. Our advice to others - make your own arrangements. more
