Berkeley is known for its University- Telegraph Avenue is where the students like to hang out in the evenings. Even if you don't have money to spend, there are interesting stores in which to look around. Dirty, dirty, dirty and nothing special as far as shops. A very small Adidas store and a wonderful hat store are the only things that stood out to me. Comparing it to "the Hill" here in Boulder, Colorado - well, there is no comparrison. I will not be visiting here again. Now, Shattuck street is a different matter. That street... more

Berkeley/Telegraph is the most greatest, unique place I've ever been to! Great shops and lots of really loving people. Always something to do! Always somewhere to go! It's a really great place. Also very artsy! more
