Had a great experience with Preston's winery. The staff is very friendly and there's no pressure to buy their bottles. The wines, however, might make you lose control. The winery is located about 1/2 mile down a dirt road off W. Dry Creek Rd in a nice setting right in the middle of the valley surrounded by vineyards. The winery specializes in more than just wine - they also bake their own bread and grow olive trees for olive oil. The wines are fairly decent but I agree... more

Ok, here's the scoop. The wines get 3 stars, but the overall winery, grounds, and gardens, along with their sale of organic foods make it a "must stop" in Dry Creek Valley (thus, 4 stars for the total experience).
