Almost anyone visiting Los Angeles will go to see Hollywood and its environs. That's where the movies are made and almost everything surrounding you is an attempt to publicise the place or the people living there. The building housing the Kodak Theatre where the Oscar ceremonies are held also has three walkways joining the neighbouring building and from this vantage... more

Not what I expected at all. TOO many people. Hard to get people to move so u could take pictures of certain footprints. Lots of guys handing out "Free" tours and tickets to shows but be aware that most of them are not "free". more

Grauman's Theatre was a big disappointment to us having travelled a great deal and seeing many high quality things. As a first, it is striking but compared to modern facilities it is average at best. Some of the celebrity lounges were ok but nothing exceptional as I anticipated they would be. Tour guide was barely satisfactory and seemed eager to... more

I had some expectations about the theater because I heared so much about it. The theater looks great and majestic from the outside but the whole place was so overcrowded with tourists (pretty ironic considering I was one myself). The cement footprints and hands outside were ok, the people dressed like actors and characters from movies were fun to watch.... more

I recommend the walking tour of the Chinese Theatre. Its quite informative and worth it. It was fun seeing the hands and feet of famous stars and... more

This is a national treasure. This is one of the most recognisable theaters in the world. Of course the most famous part of this theater is the stars hand and footprints in the courtyard. We took many pictures of these. There is a concession stand and a gift shop in the courtyard. Beware there are also plenty of people dressed... more

Take the waking tour. What an amazing view inside. Check out the VIP lounge used by Micheal Jackson & Elizabeth Taylor. Great history of how the cement handprints & footprints started. You need a 5 year history in show business before they will give you wet cement! Good news for the Harry Potter stars. more

I really enjoyed all of the sights. The star walk and 'actors' that you take your picture with are great. Great view of the hollywood sign. Need to see it at least once. more

If you are an old movie buff ... this piece of Hollywood history is priceless!! When you think of the influence the early stars of the 20's and 30"s had on our society in general ... it is somewhat chilling to see the handprints and footprints in the cement. They were all here at one time and Hollywood was in... more
