I had some expectations about the theater because I heared so much about it. The theater looks great and majestic from the outside but the whole place was so overcrowded with tourists (pretty ironic considering I was one myself). I recommend the walking tour of the Chinese Theatre. Its quite informative and worth it. Really lovely inside however while we were there they were playing a movie and we couldnt go right in and look or take pictures,, abit annoying so make sure no film is showing..... This is a national treasure. This is one of the most recognisable theaters in the world. Of course the most famous part of this theater is the stars hand and footprints in the courtyard. Take the waking tour. What an amazing view inside. Check out the VIP lounge used by Micheal Jackson & Elizabeth Taylor. Great history of how the cement handprints & footprints started. You need a 5 year history in show business before they will give you wet cement! Good news for the Harry Potter stars. more
