Why go? They have a great location, an interesting building and lots of information on the night sky. Griffith Observatory sits atop the hills near the Hollywood Sign. I suggest getting there early as it tends to get crowded after noontime. I thought the exhibits within the Observatory were pretty boring.Lots of reading and pictures that didn't necessarily impress me. The views of LA were amazing. And i loved the Planetarium Show.
