Okay, you can see the graves of Calamity Jane and Wild Biil, but this cemetery, with its well documented sections and walking tour does more than that - it gives a complete picture of life in late 19th century Deadwood as seen through death. Included are the graves of children who died in infancy due to disease, various prominent citiizens... more

Had to check this out while we were in town. I guess it was ok, if you're into all that Wild Bill & Calamity Jane stuff. I'm not sure if I agree on charging people to go into a cemetery but it was only a buck per person and I guess it goes towards the up keep and tour guides.... more
