I have always wanted to go to DollyWood and finally had the chance to over Christmas. My family and I were shocked at the $8 parking fee, but at least you get to ride a tram to the main entrance. It was quite freezing that day (literally), and at the ticket booth, we read a sign that noted if temperatures... more

My wife and I decided early in 2008 to buy season passes for us and our seven-year old boy as birthday presents. We investigated all the season pass options and decided to purchase "Super Passes" that included season pass admission to the adjacent waterpark. I feel we more than got our money's worth as we live only a couple hours... more

My family just returned from Dollywood this weekend. We enjoy Dollywood very much. The exterior decor is very attractive, quaint and well maintained unlike other parks (ie, Kings Island, north of Cincinnati). The food is less expensive than most parks and in my own unbiased (southern) opinion, is much better in quality and flavor. In the past few years, Dollywood... more

The first thing I noticed about Dollywood was the Expensive prices. I felt that the admission to the park is way to much. Once I got past that fact I had a good time. There are some good rides there such as Thunderhead, Mystery Mine, Slidewinder, and River Battle. The food is also pretty good in the park. We went... more

I'll write two reviews in here, one for Aunt Granny's restaurant and one for the park itself, since the restaurant doesn't have its own entry on TripAdvisor. We ate at Aunt Granny's for lunch, two adults and two children, and it cost $52 plus tip. They had nothing kid-friendly on the buffet for my 8-year-old except macaroni and cheese, and... more

I love Dolly Wood - a yearly visit with a friend has become a tradition. It is open year-round and they keep the decor seasonal. I'd say it takes a good 3-day weekend to do and see everything, but you can spend a day or two and get a great experience. Cost: Although tickets and parking are similarly priced to... more

I'm not really into theme parks, but the family wanted to see Dollywood while visiting Pigeon Forge. On the one hand, these types of parks are notoriously expensive and of course this was no exception. My local AAA office offered discounted tickets, but it was still $126 for 2 adults and a child. They also charge $8 for parking and... more

My family used to go to Dollywood quite often, when the children were young, but we had not been in a while when we went this year over Labor Day weekend. We took the trolley from Patriot Park into Dollywood; this saves a little money and a LOT of time, because you don't spend your time waiting in a line... more

Do not waste your money on this!!!! I took my step children from Germany and I was so embarrassed that I chose this place. Alot of the rides were not working and there were only a (few) for the small children to ride which were also not working. Put your money on Carowinds. They have many rides for all ages,... more

Dollywood was lovely. It was built around and in the mountains so you could always see trees, but beware there are some rides you shouldnt go on. Thunderhead and the Juke box Junction were both jerky and Thunderhead kept shuting down. Now to the best rides- you should go on Mystery Mine, the Ferris wheel and Sky Rider. They also have... more
