While the DMA is amazing, save your money and skip the 30-50 dollar exhibit. The exhibit takes you from room to room, learning about his ancestors and getting closer and closer to TUT. Excellent shows, currently J.M.W. Turner and Onderdonk exhibits are outstanding. Cafe on ground level has tasty salads, reasonable prices. The 1717 restaurant has delicious food. The King Tut exhibit is coming in the fall of 2008. Makes for a good visit. more

Although not particularly attractive on the outside, the DMA has some great art within its walls. My favorite was an American painting called "The Icebergs".
