The Dallas World Aquarium and rainforest has exhibits from five continents, 14 countries, three oceans, several seas and rivers. The exhibits are arranged in an orderly manner throughout the aquarium up to the rainforest canopy. At times the walkways and paths are a little narrow and can be congested. There are several talks, feedings and performances during the day and... more

I loved this place. It is not an aquarium like in Monterey where you walk from tank to tank, exhibit to exhibit. The first part is like a whole ecosystem, with plants, animals, birds, water. It's all integrated and helps you feel like you have been transported to a tropical rainforest. It may seem small considering the cost ($19), but... more

Although MUCH better than the Aquarium in Fair Park, it still cost wayyyy too much for what it had to offer. Not only fish, but you also got to see birds of all kinds and wild cats, bugs, spiders, etc. An adult ticket is $18. Too much for what they provided. The snacks are also extremely expensive and the booklets... more

When ever we are in Dallas, we always visit the Dallas World Aquarium. It's funny, I have never really thought about the fact that it is not an aquarium in the strict sense of the word. We just love the whole experience. When you first enter, you are at the top of a three story plus atrium. You can look... more

Aquarium is in the middle of Downtown Dallas, easy to find. half Zoo half Aquarium. Has 3-4 great exhibits We spent about 1 hour there and went slow through the 4 floors. Plan 40-70 minutes, maybe a little more if you really want to linger or eat inside. Parking was something like $3 for an hour or $5 for "all... more

So, I read the reviews before I went, Yes it is PRICEE $19.00 dollars for adults with no discounts around. My family and I are from Los Angeles, we moved to Dallas a few months back. We were members at the Auarium of the Pacific in Long beach, as with the Dallas Aquarium you really can go through both in... more

I thought the admission price was way too high for this facility. It was interesting as more of a habitat than an aquarium. For example, there is a large leopard in a tiny glass enclosure in the middle - I am not sure how that fits in. It costs $20/person, no discounts. I would steer clear. more

The aquarium is divided into multiple overlapping levels that show off all different kinds of tropical birds (toucans, parrots, macaws, and other brightly colored songbirds) and monkeys, manatees, stingrays, and needless to say, countless varieties of fish. Hairy spiders, vampire bats, anacondas, electric eels, piranhas, crocs and other slimy creatures constitute the creepy crawlies. Jaguars, flamingos, sloths, peacocks, cuddly, kangaroo-like... more

So I thought this place was an aquarium but it turns out that it is like this nature place with the top level filled with animals like birds and stuff and then you have to go downstairs to get to the fish. "Aqua" is from the latin word for water and this place isn't focused on the aqua. When I... more

We went as a family and everyone was impressed. It feels like you are in another world once you enter. The animals and plants are all around you at various levels. A bit pricey but enjoyable. more
