We visited the Chateau Auvers last week and thought it was a waste of time. It seemed to be targeted toward children. In fact, we had to wait 20 minutes to enter because a bus load of young children entered before us. We enjoyed walking around Auvers and seeing where Van Gogh painted. i went to auvers with the intention of having lunch at the auberge ravoux, however it was closed (monday) it said only open wed thru saturday, but i assume this was in the off period (tourist wise) and maybe through the summer months it's open everyday.
