There is a hidden spot in Vermont that is called the Grand Canyon of the area and this is it! The chasm is cut in the rock all the way down and the view is awesome! There is a trail system throughout the area that wraps around this place and it is not that bad to the bottom to take... more

One of the most secinic spots in VT. The best view of the gorge is from the highway bridge so be sure to walk across. there are two main hiking trails one to tablerock at the bottom of gorge great swmming but illeagle and the trail to the mill pond and water fall at the head of gorge this trail... more

My wife and I did the hike down to the bottom of the gorge. From the trail itself, you really don’t get a very good view of the gorge (too much tree cover to really see it). And, when you get to the bottom of the trail, you end up on the river, but unfortunately you end up again at... more

We decided to stop at Quechee Gorge on our way to Stowe, VT from Boston. It was a crisp fall day and just a hint of grey clouds. The hike, more like a walk along the top to the bottom of the gorge, is about a mile long and is a great family activity. Be sure to wear sneakers and... more
