July of 2008 was the first time I had visited The Pottery. Yes, the main outlet and warehouse areas could use some paint and good handyman and clean-up crews....but keep in mind that the Statue of Liberty was still important even before her face and body lift. Picture a dollar store filling a gigantic run down warehouse. There you have it. We kept looking at the ads in the tourist brochures to make sure we were in the correct place. Williamsburg Pottery is some of the best shopping in America. You name - they have it and at great prices. Give yourself a couple of hours, just to see it all, and that's if you if you jog. Good quality, good selection, nice folks. Leslie from Arizona more

This place was 200 acres of junk! I'm not sure when they took the pictures that are in the brochure, but the place looks nothing like that anymore...it is very rundown. We were in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. more
