First, I want to make disclaimers. I am a die hard Marriott Fan. I have stayed in Marriott properties all over the world and might be more forgiving then most travelers. I live in Southern California and am probably less bothered by background noise like construction then most people. This was my first trip to the Caribbean. The closest other... more

I am surprised how many people have written positive reviews about this place, as some of my complaint are resort wide. First the renovations are bothersome. We lost use of our balcony for 2 days due to painting and we weren't compensated at all. At first our room was over the atrium, the noise at night was unbearable. They moved... more

Aruba is a very beautiful island. We had a great family vacation and other than a few minor things at the Marriott we would definately stay there again. The construction was well under way in the hotel lobby so this was a bit of a distraction having to use other doors and listening to the news but when it is... more

We just returned from a 4 night stay at the Marriott Resort in Aruba. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Everyone was incredibly friendly and and helpful. We ate our anniversary dinner at the hotel's Simply Fish which is located right on the beach, and everything was perfect, just the right amount of service for our very special night.... more

We just returned from our honeymoon at the Marriott and had a fantastic stay. Any issues we had were minor annoyances if anything, and I'll mention them below. But I think it is only right to go through the good things first. Good service started prior to us even getting there. They sent a lot of useful information via email... more

We just got back from Aruba. We were there July 9-13, too short. We had a great time. We stayed last year at the Marriott Stellaris, using miles, so we did the same this time. We didn't notice the construction at all. Our room was beautiful, much better then last year before the renovations. We had an ocean view room... more

My girfriend and myself stayed at the Marriott over a quick 4-day trip to Aruba and loved every minute. Rooms: We stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool area. The balcony was very large and great, although we didn't use it much, since we try to avoid being in our room at all costs...who goes on vacation to sit... more

My fiancé and I stayed at the Marriott Resort for 4 nights, May 29-June 2 and we loved it. It was our first time in Aruba. I would say that the hotel is a 4 star hotel. We had actually wanted to stay at the Hyatt, but we were able to get a really great deal at the Marriott. The... more

I'll start by saying we got a great deal on this stay through Priceline and it was worth every penny. Pros: Room - Brand new, large bathrooms, walkin closets, nice sized balcony. Casino - Our favorite in Aruba (and largest) Pool - Very nice and good happy hour (3pm to 5pm) Beach - On the nicest section in Palm Beach... more

Exactly what I would expect from a Marriott, comfortable and accomodating. Everything with our stay went well and the room was decent. **Bring a Float for the Ocean! Get out to the huts on the beach around 7:30am for reservations of the ocean side huts. The North tower is undergoing renovations right now but you hardly notice it. The swim... more
