We confirmed a 1 bedroom/2bath exchange for suite 540. When we got there they changed us to 364 telling us it was a better room. I think it was more convenient for the maid service, who knows. It didn't have 2 bathrooms, just one shared by the living and bedroom. This was an annoyance because we brought our 15 year... more

We visited the Riu August 15-20, 2008 staying in a Junior Suite. Although the hotel charged us for 3 all-inclusives, the third person had to sleep on a roll away situated in the middle of the living area which made things tight moving around. May have been better if the sofa was a sleeper. The rooms were clean and well... more

I've just returned from Aruba (15/8 - 23/8) and I just needed to give the Riu my compliments, because my stay was one of the best I've ever experienced! Like everybody else I like to have a luxurious stay, with friendly staff, nice food & drinks, beautiful grounds, etc. But perfection doesn't exist in this world. Sure, there are always... more

The Riu Palace is a beautiful hotel and most of the staff was great. However, I was a little disappointed with my overall stay at the Riu. As a honeymooner, we were placed on the fourth floor in Building B in a room that had a King size bed made out of two standard beds. There were bugs in the... more

We just returned from five nights. It goes without saying the beach and water are the draw...just fabulous. The hotel property is nice, but a walk down the beach to wander around the Hyatt will leave you wishing you were staying there. For a straight hotel, it would be a fine place to stay, but for an all-inclusive you come... more

Well the resort from the pictures looked beautiful and it actually is. The rooms were in great shape and recently renovated. If you are a pool person, you will love this place. They have a huge pool area to sunbath with a swimup bar. The food was good even in the buffets. The drinks were excellent and the waiters were... more

I was really impressed with the hotel. Many of the hotels in Aruba is old and run down. This place is brand new and the location is amazing. We were upgraded to an ocean front room and we were able to watch the sunset from our balcony every night. The food at the buffet restaurant is pretty good, but the... more

My husbond and I recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Riu Palace Resort in Aruba and I just wanted to let folks know some hints that might make their stay a little more enjoyable! Overall, the resort was great. The grounds are beautiful, the beach is nice - white sand like sugar, beautiful clear turquoise water -... more

Our family stayed at the Riu week of July 20th THE CHECK-IN 1st let me begin by saying it was quick and the room was ready upon arrival but we were given the wrong room. We paid for a Suite w/private Jacuzzi/ocean view and opened the door to find a jr. suite. I then returned to the front desk only... more
