We stayed at the Westin Aruba for 7 nights in August. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a nice view of the pool and ocean. The service was nothing less than EXCELLENT and PERSONAL. It made the difference between having a good vacation and a great one. At 6:30 am, the waitstaff at the Terrace would see me... more

My fiancee and I booked our honeymoon trip to the Westin Aruba back in March. At that time, I had read some reviews here that the hotel was undergoing construction, and causing disturbances for the guest. When we booked, I asked the travel agent at AAA to confirm that there would be no construction during our stay (Sept 15-22). That... more

We stayed at the Aruba Westin Aug. 15-20, 2008. The hotel is above average (Hyatt, Radisson, Marriott are higher end) but for what we paid on priceline ($123/night taxes inlcuded) this resort couldn't be beat. The beach was awesome. Clear white sand, you must reserve a hut on the beach early. I perfer sitting by the pool which was very... more

The Westin is Okay, but definately not worth the money they're charging to stay there. First, the hotel is showing its age, the rooms are stinky, and look a bit dated. We arrived in August, and they put us in a room with a broken air conditioner. We complained and they moved us adjacent to the elevators. All night long... more

This hotel was amazing! I just returned from our trip and I can not express how clean this hotel is and how courteous ALL the staff are. Customer service is an A+++! One of the great perks at this hotel is that on the resort ground, there are exotic bird cages where you can pet and take pics (if you're... more

I, like others, was worried after reading some of the reviews for the Westin. We had an awesome room (800), and a perfect view! We were bumped up to an ocean front room because it was our honeymoon. We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, and the refrigerator that we ordered-- $5.00 a day is well worth it! Patrick... more

We went to the Westin the last week in June and had a fabulous time. We traveled with 3 kids ages 8 and under. We booked a room with 2 doubles but were upgraded to a junior suite which was fabulous. There was a fold out couch and when we arrived they had already brought up a single roll away... more

Our stay at the Westin was great. The rooms are what you would expect from a Westin, comfy beds, nice flat screen TV. The view was nice, of the pool and ocean. The hotel itself was just finishing renovations so there were some areas blocked off. The elevator took forever to arrive, which was a little annoying. The pool was... more

What can I say? We had stayed at two other Westins in the past, and had been VERY content. This one, is far from satisfactory. First off.....the service....ATTROCIOUS. Never have my newly-announced wife and I been more insulted by rude comments and impatient, or perhaps LAZY staff members that refused to earn their pay (or tips), than we were at... more

We received a deal from Westin in Aruba for $649 for a 5 night stay with a $100 resort credit. Our room was an island view which was okay but we were on the 5th floor and while we had a balcony the room mainly overlooked the roof top. You could stretch out and see the ocean and we were... more
