We spent 7/22 to7/29/2008 at the Melia Puerto vallarta. The people were nice and the room clean. The food was fairly good. Taxi or bus was easy to come by. The down side--the air conditioning was sub-par and we requested fans so we could sleep. I was very disappointed with the beach/ocean water.
