The problems with this hotel emerged before we even arrived, I phoned the day before arrival to confirm our booking only to be told they had never heard of us. After checking our confirmatory email, and panicking about our arrangements, they eventually offered to put us up in a double room with a camp bed instead of the family room... more

Decided to stay here on the basis of one positive review on Trip-Advisor. Arrived at 8.20pm. No proper reception, we had to wait at a crowded bar to get someone's attention. There was a party in full swing with very noisy music as well as a busy restaurant and the usual pub trade. We were given a room right above... more

we thought the steer inn to be a great hotel friendly and welcoming the rooms are very clean and tidy and the food is second to none. we havestayed in other b&b;s but find this very friendly and is family run and family motivatedwe intend to return with our granddaughter. more
