You never really know what to expect with Best Western but this hotel is certainly better than most. There is a large car park, a light reception and spacious clean rooms. Once again Expotel has waved its magic wand and sent me to a hotel for work. Being a skeptic, it worried me that the rate for bed and breakfast was £60 (single room). £60! I have stayed here a few times when the better hotels in the town were fully booked. It is a little bit shabby and the staff are not the most helpful. What eally lets it down though is the restaurant, the food is truly awful and I would advise anyone staying hereto go into the town centre to eat. more

Booked this hotel because I was told it was the best hotel in Stafford. Warm greeting on arrival, but then let down by the room - 4 channels on the TV (and no remote control), dangerous broken chair, and mould in the bathroom.
