I have just returned from a four night stay at the Queens Hotel, Dundee. The hotel has a great location in the middle of Dundee. The booking was made through work so I rang the day before and explained that I would be arriving before the official check in time, they said that would be fine and would try and... more

We have just spent one night at the Queens Dundee. It was absolutely terrible. One of the worst places (i couldnt call it a hotel) we have ever stayed in. The room stunk of smoke! It was supposed to be a double room and it was tiny! It had a slanting ceiling so when you got out of bed it... more

I stayed at this hotel with my fiance and had a lovely time. LOCATION----The location is slap bang in the middle of Dundee center but we had no trouble at all with noise and our room faced right on the front. ROOMS----Very large, comfortable bed, very clean and a very powerful shower. BREAKFAST----The breakfast room is absolutly lovely and there... more

Quite a decent hotel with very friendly staff. I asked for a nice quiet room and got one. The only let down was the breakfast cereal that was on display, not very inspiring so I had one of the buffet style full english/scottish types, which I normally try and miss. Good location for those doing a bit of sightseeing or... more

I got allocated a room on the ground floor, which was awful. The room was small, dark and depressing, the bathroom was tiny, and there was noise from a firedoor slamming whenever anybody came or went. more

Positives:Beautiful historic hotel. Superior location. Most of staff friendly and professional. Food is good and premises is clean overall. Good restaurant opposite. 2 convenience stores 100 feet from entrance. Negatives: Uneven service. Uncomfortable beds. Indifferent room service. Noisy bistro late at night on weekends. Tramps camp out in front of hotel overnight. Could be 4 star hotel but not with... more

This hotel is convenient for all the sights of Dundee, we didn't use a bus at all, just walked from place to place. Room was lovely and spacious, en-suite was of a decent size (which is unusual, usually there isn't enough room to turn around!), we were at the back of the hotel on the top floor and the view... more

I booked this hotel because of it's location just across the road from university where my daughter had an appointment and to be honest as we were only staying a night it didn't really matter what it was like as long as it was clean. Check in was problem free and the reception staff very friendly. Our room was very... more

Lovely hotel, great location for everything you want to do in Dundee, shops literally a minutes walk. Can sound a bit rowdy at night time outside if in a front room. Bar sound, room sound, restaurant sound. Could do with a kind of bar supper menu for the simpler eaters like myself. Found restaurant menu a little too fancy and... more
