Small hotel in a quiet residential area, but very close to Princes Street. Lovely rooms with high quality furnishings. Free parking at front at weekends. Very friendly and attentive staff. Fantastic breakfast - especially the french yoghurts! more

My in-laws had stayed here twice before us. The beds were very comfortable and the bar in the basement was nice. We also were able to walk to town from the hotel yet there didn't seem to be a lot of traffic around the hotel. more

This hotel is about a 15 minute walk into the city and in a very leafy and quiet area. There are several buses into town. The hotel was originally several large town houses elegantly refurbished into one large premise. There are fascinating photos of Shackleton, the explorer who apparently lived in the house.
