Nice hotel in a lovely location opposite the Botanic Gardens which is well worth a visit and just a short walk into the city centre. We had the four-poster room which was ok, a bit small and in need of a little refurbishment for the price charged. Breakfast is good and staff were helpful with directions etc. more

Stayed here for 2 nights - Warm and comfortable but room was shockingly small and the window wouldnt open! What in edinburgh would be termed a "box room".
