Having just completed our fifth stay at the Harding, we were again pleased in every respect except one: The room, although otherwise clean, smelled strongly of mildew, which appeared to originate from two large spills that stained the wall-to-wall carpet. This Hotel is in a great location for exploring Dublin and is great value for money. The bus tour stops just around the corner and a couple of minutes walk will take you to the centre of temple bar. My husband and I stayed at the Harding Hotel for only 1 night, but we were happy with our stay. Our room was directly across from the Christchurch Cathedral and we were so taken with the view we had dinner to-go and ate in the room- soaking in the gorgeous views! Great hotel with very pleasant rooms and great value. The only downside is that if you are here at the weekend and you don't plan on staying out until 2am you might not get much sleep unless you are a heavy sleeper! There is a bar attached to the hotel which plays very loud music all night at the weekend.... more

This hotel is located just off Temble Bar and close to most cultural sites etc. No real problems had a room on the third floor and at end of corridor - so room was very spacious. Everything was clean and in good condition. The most negative points were cheap shower curtain but good shower and always plenty of hot water.... more

I stayed at the Harding with a tour group as well as on my own prior to the tour. The single room (on my own) was small but serviceable.
