As usual, a gem of a hotel. The front desk staff in particular is excellent -- friendly, helpful and professional -- a real asset. Great location, near the Metro, bus lines, and, especially welcome, very good restaurants within walking distance. The addition of a varied menu for light meals and late-night snacks is a real plus. We've now stayed at L'Abbaye 4 times, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Paris. The neighbourhood, St Germain de Pres, is fantastic, a nice walk to most places you want to see, with a lot of great shopping and restaurants within minutes. charming hotel in a great location. Set on a quiet street, walk around the block to boutiques and restaurants. Very close to the metro station. Servce staff was very attentive. nice breakfast in the inner garden. My only complaint is...no shower in the standard room..and, I like showers! other than that, parfait! more

This is the third time we've stayed at the Hotel de l'Abbaye. This time we had a large room (room 2) which was quite spectacular. We had our own small conservatory and courtyard! We just returned from a delightful stay at the Hotel de l'Abbaye in Paris. A perfect location-only regret is that we could not stay longer. This was our second stay here, Would not want to stay any where else. more

Very welcoming and cosy hotel. Refurbished rooms are very good. Open fire and pretty courtyard create a very relaxing "house party feel". Service was charming but occasionally a little slow.
