The Mercure Gobelins is very close to the metrostation "Place d'Italie", where three metrolines stop. This makes it very easy to use the metro to get around. It takes about 20-25 minutes to walk to Notre Dame from the hotel. There are restaurants (and a McDonalds), a minimarket and a market where you can buy fruit, meat, bread, clothes etc.... more
