Horrible. We arrived late with our two young kids and our reservation made online the same day was not in their system yet. We were “lucky” enough that they had some rooms left. The guy at the front desk had never worked there so it took over 40 minutes to get the keys. They made us take two rooms and... more

Dear Clients, Something seems unfair in this statement as we do have fixed personal for night and day reception. If you reserve 10 mn before you arrive at the hotel, you will easily understand that the reservation can not be registered directly in our hotel software as it is not the same system. In this case, we ask to the...

The person who wrote about the prostitutes, thieves and beggars in the neighborhood was exactly right. His review sounds genuine, as opposed to people who gave this hellhole an above average rating. We just got back from a weekend in Paris where the hotel we had booked had an emergency flooding situation and re-housed us in the Regina. It was... more

We do appreciate critics because they help us to improve our services when they are justified. Our hotel is not a “hellhole” : we are classified as 3 stars by the Tourism Ministry and we care about the quality of our services (reception and cleanliness for instance) : we thank this client to have underlined that our staff is “fine”...

stayed here for one night for a business trip - paid €66 - a very good deal. yes, the elevator still does not work, but they carried my luggage up the 4 flights of stairs. i found the reception staff to be very friendly and helpful. my room was small-ish, but clean and the bed was comfortable. bath was small,... more

I booked EuroRail passage from London to Paris through Hospitality Lines. As part of the service, Hospitality Lines selected a 3* or better hotel for us. We were not allowed to know the name of the hotel until after we paid for all - Hospitality Lines "selected" the Regina Opera for us. Let me start by saying that Hospitality is... more

We are very sorry that this client’s stay in our hotel went off badly. It may happen that clients fraudulently accuse hotel stealing something to make money. This review is not representative of our hotel’s quality of services and high level of honesty. The hotel Regina Opera staff tries every day to pay attention to guest comfort and satisfaction. In...

Good location, near Bonne Novelle Boulevard Metro Station. The street (Rue de Mazagan) where the hotel is situated is not very clean and is a little ''ill-looking''... Nice Breakfeast. Small Bedrooms. Small Bathrooms. The General Look of the room was not the better. The elevator didn't work during our stay (5 days). The bedrooms were very clean. I think that... more

I read all the trip advisor reviews for this hotel before I went and found them really useful. The hotel was very clean and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The metro is at the end of the road and we were able to go all over Paris during our stay. As lots of reviewers said, the Rue Mazagran... more

We stayed at this hotel in August 2005 - we arrived late at night after being dropped off many streets away by a very unhelpful taxi driver and had to walk down dark, dubious looking streets so our first impression of the location was not great to say the least! However the following morning we discovered that there was a... more

Good Points: The staff all spoke very good English, were helpful and friendly at all times. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk from 2 metro stations. You are close to all the main attractions of Paris, including the Grevin Wax Museum which is a MUST for all ages (5 mins walk from hotel). The Hard Rock Cafe is next... more

Location was excellent, just a stone's throw away from the Buone Noevelle subway stop. The neighborhood was great, giving you a "living in Paris lifestyle" while on vacation:a lot of fruit stalls with sweet luscious cheap cherries, supermarts to buy your food supply while on the road, bakeshop with very delicious pastries, and Chinese restaurants just across the hotel with cheap... more

Room's carpet and bedspreads were dirty and smelly. Bath/shower tiles had mold deposits. No view. Could hear every sound from neighboring rooms. Very questionable neighborhood - urine smell, loitering men, homeless person. However, air conditioning worked quite well & room was bigger than expected. Size was not too helpful because lack of furnishings meant things had to go on the... more
