The location of the hotel was right in the heart of the Marias. Step out the door and you can walk to the Louvre, Seine River, shops and Cafe's galore! Great Location. Yes the rooms are small and its not the Ritz but my sister and I took advantage of the nice reception room on the first floor over looking... more

This hotel bears no relationship to that described on any internet site. It has the smallest foyer I have ever seen - while standing at the Reception desk, a gentleman came down the stairs to go out. We had to step into the street to allow him to get out of the hotel. Narrow, about 6 feet wide at its... more

The entrance to the France Louvre is a small doorway leading to the smallest reception area I've ever encountered. Our room, on the 3rd fllor, was at the front of the hotel looking out over the Rue de Ravoli. The room was listed as superior but it wasn't -I wouldn't want to be in a standard room. Double galzing kept... more

My mum and I stayed here. The rooms are tiny, but we were prepared for small. The rooms are simple, but clean. We had a room overlooking the Rue DiRivoli and werent bothered by noise. If you are looking for a fabulous location, walking distance to so many wonders, great restaurants only a couple of doors down and friendly staff... more

I had asked for a room at the back of the hotel because i know the street it is on is quite busy. The room we got was a cupboard, very dark and very depressing. We stayed in that room the first night, the next morning i went to have a shower, the bathroom was so small that you could... more

Yes, rooms are small, but that didn't bother us. This hotel did seem to be for the more travel-hardy, less-picky, urban hipsters. Definitely not for someone expecting pampering. Coming from Chicago, we knew exactly what 150 Euros per night would get us. Definitely spring for the "Deluxe Double" as the standard double was barely big enough for two people plus... more

A colleague and i booked two rooms in this hotel for one night..and that was one night too long. i have stayed in paris many times and know there is a huge variation between hotels with 3 stars. This one scarcely merits one star. It is shabby. The room was tiny, The claims made on the hotel website about size... more

We had a superior room, it was small but clean. The hotel was a little bit noisy, you can hear the neightbours doing there "thing". You should be at the breakfast before 8:30 am because when you don't all the good food is already taken by someone else. The location was perfect, just about 7 minutes walking from the notre... more

...was most probably my worst stay in a hotel ever! The service offered was simply appalling. Hotel staff really didn't care that rooms were not ready when guests arrived or that they felt welcomed at all. Bags were left in the corridor as the luggage room (...the hotel storage room) was full, the lift was not working (my room was... more

We booked two double rooms and stayed at France louvre for 7 nights from 26dec to 2nd Jan. The hotel is excellent located, in the heart of the city at Marais, only 15min walk from Notre Dame and 3 min walk from Hotel Du Ville metro. it couldn't have been better, definately stay around marais area, or Notre Dame area... more
