Great location, staff was very accomodating. Rooms were small, but the bathroom was quite large. Breakfast Buffet was nice in the morning in a charming basement. Hair dryer didn't work, however was given a working one immediately. Not a fancy hotel, but was clean and comfortable. more

I was here from 09/05/2008 through 09/20/2008 not out of choice. This hotel is a dump. There is nothing even charming about it. The rooms are the size of a closet. Be sure to take a hair dryer. The one in my room was the kind you had to hold a button in the entire time. The button broke and... more

This hotel has seemed to have got some really bad press. Reading the reviews on here almost made me cancel my booking, but the helpful girls from the agent I booked with asked me to stick with it....And I'm glad I did. I telephoned the day before my arrival to ask for a room away from the noise of the... more

Having just read the awful reviews some people have given this place, I just had to do it justice. This is a LOVELY hotel, + at a great price it's good value too. The rooms aren't huge (but no smaller than other 3* places), and it's location is not uber central, but it really was a great little place to... more

We felt a bit sceptical after reading bad reviews about this hotel but it was too late to cancel. We were disappointed. The tiny lobby is worn and tired, the staff discourteous and looking annoyed (especially the woman in charge of serving the poorest breakfast), The carpets were filthy with stains everywhere, Thank God we had paid a reasonable price... more

It was the worst hotel, that I have ever stay in my life!! The room was extremely small, the carpets were dirty and the stuff was firstly very rude and secondly not well informed. The first day that we wake up, we found on the bed a cockroach!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it? After a big fight with the manager they... more

This has been the worst hotel I have seen in my life!! We booked it through Priceline as a 3*... I would have given it a -20*...but anyway, we got there at around 11:00 pm and were surprised at how small and dirty and old the lobby was. After about 30 minutes at the check-in desk, we finally got our... more

Paris is full of small 2- & 3-star hotels but how do you find a good one? The 3-star Hotel Berne Opera, in a quiet road near the Gare de St Lazare and close to the Rome metro stop, is an example of a good one. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast in the cellar is... more

We stayed in 17 hotels in 24 days and this was the worst Hotel that we stayed at. The only thing good was that it was close to the Metro and they had a little outdoor patio to enjoy. The rooms were noisy, dark and very very small. No room to even put your luggage on the ground. We used... more
