I just returned from the wonderful trip in Europe with my family group of 6 people. One of our favourite hotel during the trip is the "Emeraude Hotel Plaza Etoile". The location is superb just a few steps from Arch de Triomphe which mean that several main attractions of Paris are just in the walking distance as well as it... more

We stay 4 nights in this hotel. The location is great, in the center near to metro and RER station, two blocks away from the Arch of Triumph. Excellent base to trip Paris. The staff was very complaisant. The hotel is very small but very nice. more

BEWARE: THIEVES EMPLOYED AT HOTEL We have just returned from stayng at this Hotel. A credit card was taken from the belongings in our room. Other belongings had been rifled through. Our stolen credit card was used fraudulently almost immediately. The bank informed us that $10,000 AUS of transactions had been made on the credit card in a matter of... more

This hotel was so tiny it was laughable. In fact, it was the smallest hotel room I have ever booked in Paris. You cannot pull a rollaboard suitcase down the hall unless you pull it behind you. Two people with rollaboards barely fit in the elevator. The room was so tiny we were grateful we weren't staying long enough to... more

We stayed at this hotel to see the Tour de France 2006 - but we didn't get the view we'd hoped for - due to spending the Sunday morning at the Police station reporting the theft from our room. When we returned to the hotel, on the Saturday evening after a day sight seeing, we found our bedroom door was... more

I stayed in this 'hotel' for four nights whilst at a conference in the nearby Palais des Congres. I can say without fear of contradicting myself, I have never stayed in a smaller room in all my life. At the risk of being indelicate, when seated on the toilet one can easily attend to all bodily ablutions from that position,... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one night in February. The positives were that it was easy to find from the metro station, the receptionists and cooks at breakfast were friendly and spoke very good English, breakfast options were quite varied, it's right near the arc de triomphe so the location is fantastic and our balcony views... more

This hotel is located at only 2 blocks away from the arc de tromphe and well within walking distance to the famous champs-elysses. There are good value eats few feets away from the hotel. The room is extra tiny and the size of the shower makes you feel like a mummy in it. Beware of the fact that the breakfast... more

I have just returned from a 5 day trip to paris last week and stayed at the Plaza Etoile. The reception is fresh and welcoming, and the rooms lovely. Varying in size, from small, to pretty big, ours was a smaller one, but it was cosy and was perfect for what we needed! Each room has a typically french view... more
