We booked a 'Superior room' & requested King bed - we were gifted with an "upgrade" when we arrived ,so I am not sure what type of room we had but it was roomy! We've stayed here twice, both times in late June/early July. Positives - The location is great - half a block off the Rue de Rivoli - very close to the Tuileries Gardens and Concorde Metro Stop, yet tucked away enough to not feel touristy. I called the hotel myself to book the room. We choose this hotel because it would sleep 3 adults I never received an email to confirm my reservation. The hotel is in a good safe location. Bathroom was good size. Shower was dreadful. Decoration were old and faded. Several stains on carpet. Safe did not work. Staff was not friendly... more

After reading the other reviews on this hotel I thought perhaps there were two Mayfair Hotels in Paris. We just returned from a one month trip to Europe where we stayed at mostly 3 star hotels or bed and breakfasts.
