We got a decent price for a double room by Paris standards. Room and bathroom were large and clean and well lit. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. Very recently just returned from staying at the Pavillon Saint Augustin hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights and found our stay very pleasant. Other than location, this place has little else going for it. We had to MOVE ROOMS TWICE because of air conditioning. The hotel including hallways and rooms were very musty and dark, thank God I travelled with candles. Just returned from a 4 night stay 2 days ago. We had booked our trip through another company and originally showed up at the "Pavillon Pereire Arc De Triomphe" which was a total pit so we asked to be moved elsewhere (see my review and others on that place, yikes). This is a 3 star hotel. Have 2 underground stops (Saint Agustin and Saint Lazaro) very closer (2 minuts walking). The hotel has a perferct location in Paris, near from Sena river, Madelen Church, and "Gare Saint Lazare". stayed here for three nights in may. it was a very good place to stay, enjoyable experience. staff was friendly and helpful. location is close to metro and cafes and shops are nearby. shower was a little tricky to use but managed. all in all, would stay again. more
