The Courtyard Munich appears to be a beautiful hotel. The rooms were nice, the breakfast was delicous, the hotel staff was accomodating. What I didn't like was the area. Stayed here for 3 nights recently...2 adults and one child...the hotel was just okay...rooms were reasonably clean...but small things like bulbs not working... were irratating...Yes there is internet acces in the room...but it is not free... We must have been unluckyas the two twin beds were just about squeezed into our room... which looked out on an unsightly back entrance.... more

Loved this hotel! Location was great, only 5 min to the train station. About 15 min walk to the Marienplatz and the Hofbrauhaus. We even walked to the Deutsches Museum from here, under a half hour. This hotel is 5mins walk from the main train station. At first the area seems a bit seedy, filled with a few sex shops etc, however straight up the road about 8mins walk is the beginning of the Marienplatz. Very Modern, clean hotel. Great staff, big American breakfasts and we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant - not expensive.... more
