Stayed in the City Hotel for 2 nights with 8 of the girls!! We had three clean rooms with great views. We never made the breakfast but heard that it was great. Very close to the markets and although it's said to be in the red light district, we saw and heard nothing out of the way. Rooms were spacious... more

This is a great travellers hotel. The rooms are large and the showers are small but i always have found both to be clean. Yes there there are brothels nearby but all you see are buildings with a doorway. Unlike Amsterdam and Hamburg you dont see the wares. There is also a bar accross the road where people drink on... more

On first glance this hotel seemed like a bargain but on our first night we were asleep for about 2 hours when my friend woke up complaining about being bitten by 'something'. Upon further investigation, our beds were crawling with bed bugs. Big, fat, hungry bed bugs that were full of our blood. We told the guy on the desk... more

This hotel is very easy to find, from this airport you can take a train, and its like 6th stop. Hotel is located close from pretty much everything, shopping and old town (rommer platz) Room was very small, they do need a make-over BAD! Bathroom very tiny, rooms are small, no access to the internet, BUT right across the street... more

Me and my girlfriend spend two nights in this 3 star hotel which is, actually, in the middle of Frankfurt. You can walk five minutes to the main shopping street and to see the sights it´s not more than ten minutes. The neighborhood is quite scary at night, but we didn´t have any problem at all so that was ok... more

We stayed at City Hotel Frankfurt for 2 nights in October 2007. In terms of distance to the different points of interest, the location was excellent. However, the neighborhood was pretty shabby. The "trinkenhalle" nearby was crowded and noisy, and the view from our room was dreadful. Still, we spent much of our time roaming through the city, so it... more

we expected higher hotel standard since it is rated as a 3 stars hotel... but it is actually a 2 stars. It's little and old, and located in a no-so-friendly neighbourhood. The bathroom was too small, we booked a room for 3 people, had to wait a couple of hours before it was ready (way beyond the check-in time) and... more
