Whilst the Hotel Nikko appeared to be a perfect spot to stay for a three day business trip-a convenient locale, seemingly clean rooms, friendly staff and free apples to guests(haha), I shall never choose to stay here again. The fact that I was disappointed in finding out the pool/gym and interenet cost an extra fee was minor(15 euro to swim???)...the... more

Stayed at Hotel Nikko for three days while visiting the Christmas markets in Dec '07. The hotel was stunning inside, very clean, friendly with good bar area. Location was great for the markets with the furthest about 20 minutes walk away. Would stay again. more

Stayed in this hotel in Aug08. Stayed in this hotel in Aug08. This is obviously one of the luxury those hotel chains. Huge luxurious lounge with friendly and professional staff. Spotless clean room. Classic interiors and comfort bed. Not to mention, choice of breakfast buff was excellent, plus you can have Japanese BF upon your request. There is no mistake... more

This is the second time that we have stayed with at the Nikko Hotel and probably the last. In seven months they still have not managed to address the one main problem - the air conditioning!! The weekend just gone was 32 degrees plus - and still no adequate air conditioning. I complained to reception and was advised that I... more

Nikko hotel is conveniently based 10 minutes walk from the delightful shopping district and old town dusseldorf and 5 minutes away from the train station and airport shuttle buses. Staff are nice and the rooms were spotless and sufficient, but extras are very expensive more

Booked this hotel through Last Minute the day I checked in and was very glad that I did. It was cheaper than many 3* places and enjoys a central location close to the main railway station and shopping. Staff at the hotel are friendly and multi-lingual and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very smart with a large... more

Since we booked this hotel on a weekend deal (since it is a business hotel it offers rooms in the weekend at a much cheaper rate) we did not pay too much, but we still feel that we did not get value for money. This hotel is (as the name says it too) primarly a hotel for Japanese business travelers... more

Hey... Just back from a lovely long weekend in Duseeldorf with my boyfriend. As it was my birthday we decided to spend a bit extra to stay in a nice hotel so we choose the Nikko Hotel. We booked our flights with Ryanair in Weeze airport and got the bus into town which took under an hour....11 euro per person... more

I stayed at the Nikko for 2 weeks for business and stayed over a weekend so I could tour around Dusseldorf. Its located in the Japanese business district which is a 5 minute walk from the main train station and about 10-15 minutes walk from the main shopping areas and the Altstadt where a lot of bars and cafes are.... more

Just returned from Dusseldorf. We stayed in Hotel Nicco and were disappointed with our stay there for several reasons. The air conditioning did not work properly and we were too hot both day and night. We reported it to reception and they sent two handy /maintenance men to check it out. Neither ot them seemed to know what they were... more
