Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights where we booked 2 rooms. The staff were so friendly and helpful with everything. The rooms were right beside each other and had a shared balcony which was fantastic. The rooms had tea and coffee making facilities and nice bathrooms. The pool was small but nice. We didn't opt for breakfast in the... more

What can I say? This hotel is wonderful!! It should definately be a 5 star hotel. We had a lovely large room on the top floor for ourselves and our adult daughter who was travelling with us. The pool was great and it also had two saunas and a fitness room attached.! I would definately recommend eating dinner at the... more

We stayed a whole week in this hotel and found it was very well located to do all the major sightseeings on foot. The building is nice, rooms are very clean but sort of small but the bathroom is very big and has got a nice whirlpool. Don't have breakfast there (too expensive), there are lots of cafes nearby. The... more

I rarely review the major hotel chains as any criticisms are generally minor and can be rectified quickly. However, I feel mention should be made regarding the rather expensive breakfast pricing. The breakfast is served buffet style, the choice and quality being adequate but not outstanding. For this, the guest is charged 24 euros. For a couple staying several nights,... more

I stayed here with my wife for one night when we took a side-trip to Dresden during a vacation to Prague. We loved this hotel. It was very clean, centrally located, very nice and the staff was terrific. The only semi-negative comment that I have is that the breakfast was quite expensive. It was good, don't get me wrong, just... more

I stayed at the Radisson for one night in September, and was very pleased with the stay. The business class room was very large and comfortable. The mattress was a bit on the hard side, and the bedding not as luxurious as the German Marriott or Hilton counterparts, but the marble bathroom with the extra-large whirlpool tub more than made... more

Excellent conversion of a historic building into a very well equipped hotel. Friendly, knowledgable staff, ready to point out when to go to various sights and how to get there, good restaurants, etc. The hotel restaurant is good too. Handy for public transport, with easy tram to main station. Our room was large, air conditioned, with fridge, kettle, spa bath,... more

The Gewandhaus like most of the Altstadt of Dresden is a pastiche reconstruction following the 1945 destruction by fire bombing. The original " cloth market " was gutted with only the exterior walls left standing Inside the rooms surround an open atrium with glass roof. The decor is mock baroque, but it does not feel like a theme park and... more

This stylish hotel is housed in one of Dresden's many historic buildings and has managed to achieve elegance, comfort and good design without compromising the Gewandhaus. Our room was in the roof so, as well as fine views across the city, we had an unusual suite arrangement fitted neatly into the eaves. The public areas were inpressive, the staff polite... more

We stayed 3 days in the Radisson SAS Hotel last March, and it was just perfect. The staff is so nice and helpful, that we felt like in hometown. We didn’t expect big rooms as we found it, and the bathroom was very nice due to the big space. The breakfast was very complete and nice, and the Hotel is... more
