Hotel Suitess is located literally steps away from the Frauenkirche in the old part of Dresden. The hotel has a private parking garage, which requires reservations and at this writing costs 18 euros a day. We drove up to the hotel's entrance and were met by two spiffy uniformed men who unloaded our luggage and spirited our car away. Reception... more

This hotel is in the middle of building works, so beware. There are only a few rooms to the "inside". Rooms are indeed spacious - it's not however the sort of understated elegance they advertise. I stayed at Suitess hotel Dresden in October from Thursday 16. to the 19. while attending a scientific conference. A colleague of mine also stayed there. Hotell Suitess is located in the heart of beautiful, "touristy" Dresden, "An der Frauenkirche" (by a beautiful church). There is no traffic to speak of and the room was nice and quiet. We booked the hotel Suitess on the back of very little evidence, it is very new and there are few if any reviews. However the description on expedia persuaded us and I am glad it was.
