Great standard for the heart of a capital city . Ask for a newly renovated room and if it´s a double that you need you will get one with a double bed ( not the standard 2 singles put together ), away from the noisy street . A very central hotel ,and very clean .Perfect to explore Madrid . The... more

The hotel is centrally located near Peurto de Sol. in walking distance to major attractions such as the Prado, Plaza mayor and the Royal Palace. The room appeared to have been recently renovated and was spotless (as were all the public areas such as reception and the restaurant). The self-serve buffet breakfast was also very good with both hot and... more

The Hotel Regina is centrally located, and within easy walking distance of great dining, shopping and sightseeing. The rooms were large enough that we could relax comfortably, and the bathroom was also a nice size for two people. Our room faced the street, and we had a nice balcony and could open our windows to watch and listen to all... more

I was part of a group of 15 staying at the Regina from Friday 26th to Saturday 28th September, and to be honest we didn't spend much time at the hotel as we were out enjoying ourselves. The hotel itself is OK - clean, simple and in a great location. Our rooms were all OK without being special, but the... more

We are a Canadian couple who booked this hotel as part of a package from Air Transat. I have checked the price for the hotel alone on Expedia.ca and it was going for $250 a night for the week that we stayed there (July 29-August 5). If I ever go back to Madrid, it has to be to this hotel!... more

Stayed at the Regina from 25th - 29th August 08. It is perfectly located, just a few metres from the Sevilla metro to the front door of the hotel. Madrid was very hot and the cool air that greeted us as `we entered the hotel was just what we needed. However, it wasn't like that in our room and we... more

I stayed in this hotel for a total of 3 nights in August 2008. The location was unbeatable as it was right in the city centre. Many beautiful old buildings and wide boulevards on your doorstep. Room was clean and full hot buffet was more than adequate. more

Stayed in Regina from 21-28 August 2008. As mentioned in other reviews the location is superb - easy 5/10 minute walk to all main tourist attractions. Our room on the 4th floor was clean, of a good size and well-serviced. The buffet-style breakfast can be what you make of it - juices, fruit, hot food (sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs),... more

A great hotel, smack bang in the centre of Madrid and inches away from Sevilla metro station( on the other side of the street opposite the hotel). 2 minutes walk away from shopping and ideally situated for all the attractions. 35 minute metro ride from the airport and your in the hotel. The food was great but watch out for... more

We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Regina Hotel in Madrid. The location is excellent. It is an easy walk to both the Royal Palace area and the Prado Museum area. Puerto del Sol is a two minute walk, which is where we were able to catch a direct subway line to either train station for day... more
