Our stay in Florence was wonderful! We stayed and the Hotel Casci which was perfectly situated close to everything we wanted to see and do. My favorite place to shop - the market - was just around the corner! The owners of the Casci were gracious and very accommodating - always kind and wearing a smile; and the facilities were... more

Just returned from our Italian holiday and the Hotel Casci stands out as one of our favorites! We stayed in the large family room and were very comfortable - the AC was a real bonus in 35C weather. Breakfast was terrific - our kids were delighted with hot chocolate served by Nonna every morning. Both Paolo and his mom bent... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Casci during our honeymoon in Italy at the end of July. From the beginning to end of our stay, Paolo and his mother were wonderful and the hotel was fabulous. We arrived in Florence by train, and opted for the 10 minute walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel... more

Our recent stay at the Hotel Casci was just excellent. The hotel is centrally located, and the room was very quiet and extremely clean. The staff were extremely helpful, and the breakfast was very good. We received some great advice from the staff on restaurants, and they helped with museum reservations. I read a review that was quite critical of... more

We have just spent 5 nights at the Hotel Casci and had a wonderful time. Paulo, his lovely mother and their staff are very kind and extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The Family Room was large and airy and perfect for ourselves and our 2 children. The added bonus of fresh sheets and towels every day was... more

There couldn't be a better location for enjoying Florence - a short stroll in one direction takes you to the Duomo and Baptistry, turn the other direction and you are at San Marco in minutes. Or turn at the corner and you will be at San Lorenzo. We have stayed at this delightful, small, family-run hotel several times over the... more

This family run hotel was everything we wanted. The location was great as it is within walking distance to all of the sights. Paolo and his mother were absolutely wonderful. They were so helpful and made us feel as if we were part of the family. I can't sing enough praise for the staff, because they made Florence even more... more

There's no question that we will stay at the Hotel Casci again. When we first arrived, I'll admit that the hotel entrance was a bit daunting. The outside of the building seems dark and sooty, but inside we found a very warm welcome and excellent, friendly service. Everyone at the hotel had a ready smile, and they went above and... more

Having heard about this hotel from friends and wanting a central location from which to visit the many treasures of Florence, I was delighted with its central location. The warmth of the welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay was one of the best we had experienced. My friend is a Vegetarian and the hotel were very obliging in guiding... more

Don't be misled by the 15th century palazzo publicity. This is an overpriced and poky place. The entrance is scruffy and depressing. The room was expensive-110 euros, it was so poky that we could hardly walk round the beds and the bathroom was so small it was necessary to keep the door open to avoid claustrophia. Breakfast was very basic.... more

Thank to these guests for taking the time to place this comment, eventhough it is not a nice one. We remember these two ladies very well - we even offered them a free cup of coffee upon their arrival, as it was very hot and they looked tired - obviously they did not appreciate such kindness or are not used...
