Stayed 2 nights for work at Colonial on Elizabeth in a room recently refurbished. Great value. Air Conditioning was appreciated. Stayed at Colonial Inn for one night. It's really a glorified motel; some heritage rooms are available in the main hotel building which you see on the adverts (and more expensive). Heart sank a bit when we were directed to a multi-storey concrete block behind the main building, but the room was comfortable and had wi-fi access. Access to Launceston... more

Very professional, helpful staff and nicely located, just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Rooms are average but comfortable - don't let the main building's facade fool you - you'll be in the 1970's block out the back!
