I had booked this hotel for the 'close proximity' to the Prague congress centre. What a nightmare!! The area was in some unknown part of town- it is no where near the tourist sites but it was also not that close to the metro station I.P . Pavlova which was 1 stop away from Vyserhad ( the stop for the... more

We stayed in this hotel in early july and have to say its a really nice and friendly clean hotel. Its about a 10min walk to wenclesas square and then another 10mins to the old square. So it really is a great loacation. The staff are very friendly and helpful whenever we neede anything and the swimming pool although was... more

Stayed for 3 nights on a holiday with some workmates. The hotel is superbly located close enough to the Old Town and far enough away from the stripclubs and drug dealers of Wenceslas Square. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and happy to help when giving directions and arranging airport transfers. The lobby and public areas are... more

The room was satisfactory and there was a nice courtyard for an al fresco breakfast, but some of the staff were as bad as I've seen anywhere. Those on the front desk were unhelpful, the barman was plain rude, and a trainee waitress who shouted at my partner for asking if she could have fresh coffee should never be allowed... more

As many have commented before this hotel is not situated on Wenceslas Square, but is about a 10 minute stroll away. So if you are expecting to be on the square this is not the place for you. For us the short walk was no problem, and in fact rather nice. The hotel itself is very much like many other... more

We stayed here just after xmas 2007, when we arrived our room was ready, no problems with ckeck in (although someone at one of the other check in desks was complaining that they had been waiting half an hour for a room to be prepared). We had paid a bit extra for a luxury room although that had still worked... more

We stayed at the Novotel from 03 to 06 January 2008. The staff were friendly and the room well appointed. Despite being at the front of the hotel our room was very quiet. We enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna which were never too busy. Breakfast was a bit of a scrum especially if you wanted to eat a little... more

traveled with my husband and 1 year old child. I booked this hotel based on the fact that it was central, had inhouse movies and had so called "satellite tv" and seemed to be child friendly as it has a child play area and pool. The reason Im talking about inhouse movies and tv so much is due the fact... more

I stayed at the Novotel Wenceslas Square in Octover 2007. I would agree with other reviews that the hotel name is slightly misleading as it is not based directly on Wenceslas Square. However, it is only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the square and other sights/restaurants/bars. The hotel room was fantastic - really clean, fresh and modern and... more

We decided to go to Prague for a 3 day trip just before Christmas as we'd seen adverts on agents sites for the Christmas Markets - these are not huge so you may be disappointed if that's all you're going for! When arriving at the airport we booked the airport transfer company and this cost us 1150 CZK (about £29.50)... more
