As an "older" traveler, I'm new to staying at hostels. Without question this hostel is excellent: a warm welcome, detailed, color coded maps, clean and bright rooms, nice bathrooms, a great cafe for breakfast or evening drink & food, large and good kitchen - a good location. Prague is awesome & so is Sir Toby's more

Myself and 6 friends stayed in Sir Toby's for 5 days in late August. We stayed in 3 different rooms (4 bed private, double room, and 8 person dorm). All the rooms were spotless. There are chests under the beds where you can store and lock your stuff aswell. The staff and other people staying in the hostel were very... more

We stayed at Sir Toby's over new year, and chose it after reading many reviews online. We speicfically requested the only room with a balcony and were lucky enough to recieve this. The room was beautifully furnished and we couldn't believe how nice it was for a hostel! The staff are incredibly helpful and there are maps in the communal... more

We have just returned from four days in Prague staying at Sir Tobys Hostel. From the easy we took the AE (Airport Express) bus to Holesovice and alked ten minutes from there. The bus runs every thrity minutes and is cheap. On arrival we were given a lot of information about the hostel, the local area, and how to get... more

we stayed for 1 night here. our double room but actually a triple so we had lots of space which was good. this is exactly a typical hostel - they don't give you towels, you deposit money and they lend you one. nice kitchen, nice bar where you can watch for free czech movie on most nights if you want... more

My girlfriend and me stayed there for 6 nights in may, in a private double room & everything was great. Hotel has a great location, tram ride from the city center, or 25 min. walking distance. Regarding location, after being in Prague, i would always prefer to stay in kind of neighbourhood where sir toby is then in center, overcrowded... more

Located a quick tram ride away from all the central tourist areas the hostel is in a nice quiet neighbourhood away from the tourist crowds. Rooms were clean and had large back lockers. Other lockers were available at reception for valuables. Bathrooms were a little mouldy but when I complained I was immediately contacted by a manager and was told... more

I can't say enough great things about Sir Toby's. The staff is friendly and completely knowledgeable and helpful. The hostel itself has a lot of charm, is in a very safe a quiet neighborhood, and has a lovely back patio area. The amenities are great, the whole place was really clean, the bar downstairs is a great place to meet... more

Stayed at the hostel from tripadivsor reviews for four nights. I had a private room with private bath, which is really for three but they made available as a double during the season for 1450 Czech crowns. The room is probably the best in the hostel without a doubt. It is the Balcony room on the third floor. I never... more

My family of 4 (with young children) decided to stayed in Sir Toby's Hostel after much research & determining that the hostel has received consistently good reviews from Trip Advisor members. We stayed for 4 nights in Oct 06. We were assigned a family unit (4 beds) ensuite with a shower room, sink & electric kettle (which didn't work). The... more
