We spent a lot of time looking for the ideal hotel to stay in for our first trip to Prague and after reading the comments on TripAdvisor and the individual websites there was only one hotel we could choose. You are sometimes a bit worried that clever camera work can make a place look better than it is but WOW... more

Having only been to Prague once before and that being some time ago I decided to take my partner and her daughter for a holiday earlier this year. We stayed at the Alchymist which was an absolutely beautiful and efficient Hotel where nothing was too much trouble. Indeed we are returning at the end of this year. The Hotel has... more

We could only stay 2 nights in this wonderful hotel but definitely plan to return before our daughter leaves college in Prague. From its very accessible location near Charles Bridge and castle to its striking facade -on arrival we felt warmly welcomed instantly. Smiling staff who seemed genuinely interested in us and our trip and comforts, eager to advise and assist.... more

My friends and I were astonished by the beauty and magic of this hotel. Distinguish service and exquisite decoration in rooms, hall, dinning room... We are all planning to come back soon, but this time with our couples. more

Together with my wife (and without children ;-)) I spent a wonderful three days stay at Alchymist Hotel. As a frequent business traveller I have been with many five star hotels already. But Alchymist Hotel is really special and not as anonymious as one of the five stars of the known hotel chains. Rooms: perfect and "ultraclean" Staff: friendly and... more

The hotel staff was always available in order to offer his services. The junior suite was covered completely the needs of a couple. Breakfast was excellent and covered all tastes. The only disadvantage was that the pool was... more

The Alchymist is in the heart of the Lesser Town, a perfect location for a quieter break away from the busy Old Town. The service, cleanliness and facilities were all excellent, as should be expected from a hotel with such a good reputation. Arrival was a bit of an experience - to get to the hotel our taxi had to... more

Prague and the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa are fantastic and the two go hand in hand - style, class, sofistication and old world charm cuddled gently by discreet profesional people. We were in Prague and staying at the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa in November 2008 for only four days and we had the best time. The hotel is... more

Stayed here for a long weekend on the 15/11/08 -> 17/11/08 and it was fantastic. Originally it was supposed to be a romantic break but ended up going with a friend, definitely guaranteed brownie points if you take your other half here! The Hotel is amazingly decorated, the staff are very friendly and professional - the doorman Ota was very... more
