In my opinion this hotel is more of a B&B or motel rather than a hotel. Apart from the bedrooms there is really nothing else the KCB hotel offers. Yes there is a complimentary breakfast but it is very modest, totally self-service and there can be a bit of a crowd at busy times all trying to use the toaster... more

We were told the hotel was a 4 stars hotel, but in my opinion it is not! When we came to the hotel which is placed quite some km from centrum, we where meet by a closed door and nowbody answered when we knocked. So we stood there in a new country with no idea what to do. Then we... more

When we arrived we were worried we would be too far out from the centre, how wrong, using the trams which were a 2 minute walk from the hotel, took us to where we wanted too go. So easy to use and cheap, buying a day ticket. The staff were so helpful, every day they helped to plan our trips.... more

What a wonderful little hotel! From the outside it doesn't look like much but the inside was all good. The reception staff were helpful, funny and very professional. The breakfast (included) was pretty good and the rooms were oozing with character and had period furnishings. There are computers in every room and you can access the internet for 4 Euros... more

Last minute were brilliant and spoke to the Manager who moved us to a sister hotel, the King Charles. The Manager was fantastic and went to great bother to make us welcome, including offering the minibar for... more

We had a room with single beds and a jacuzzi, which was clean and furnished to a good standard. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff attentative and friendly. We booked this hotel, having read many positive reviews from fellow 'tripadvisors'. The hotel is situated within easy reach of the city centre. Approx 10 mins via the tram (tram stop approximately 2 min wallk from the hotel). Alternatively, you can walk to the centre within about 20-30 mins. We choose to walk into the centre each day and catch... more
