We just got back from a fabulous stay in prague. This hotel is superb. Inside the hotel the rooms are spotlessly clean. They are comfortable and the mezzanie style levels in some of the rooms make it feel somewhere special. They have been done up well and though not opulent there has been enough care to make you take note... more

Just had to write to say how much we enjoyed our stay in the Residence Monastery Hotel. It was everything we hoped for when we booked our break. Following comments from other contributors about overbooking we contacted the hotel directly about a fortnight before we were due to go there and Helena, the receptionist, was very helpful in not only... more

Having arrived mid way thru our month long tour we were pleasantly surrprised by this small wonderful hotel. Although a little hard to find it is situated in a very quiet sanctuary on the hills above Prague (within walking distance to the city). The staff were extremely helpful with both the hotel resources and the tourist requirements around the city. The... more

An excellent hotel, reasonable and very friendly. The walk down and up the hill is nice...the once, then the tram is the way to go. The room we stayed in was small but very very nice, on two levels with a staircase you'd not want to negotiate drunk, there was free www and wonderful views across to the castle. The... more

Arrived late on the 23rd July and for the three days we stayed at this lovely hotel I couldn't have been happier. Staff were excellent, location was "quirky" and interesting, being set outside of the main bustle of Prague made for a quiet retreat with easy access to the sites by foot or tram. more

We arrived in a taxi at Residence Monastery after 10pm after over 30 hours of travel from Australia and felt like we had come home. On arrival there was no obvious reception, but when we rang the doorbell were told to go up to our room and to check in the next morrning. We had a couple of flights of... more

Four of us visited Prague and stayed at the Monastery. It is just outside the centre and on a tram route which took us into the centre in just a few minutes. It looks down on Prague Castle and there are some spectacular views. This small but attractive hotel is very far from the usual idea of a monastery. Absolutely... more

When booking our stay here we read lots of reviews before we made a decision, The Monastery had excellent reviews so we went with it, it was a good choice. I am one of the most fussy people ever who believes in customer service and satisfaction and we recieved both here. Lovely newly furnished rooms, well equiped and very quiet!... more

Stayed for 4 days at this hotel. Very nice location, in the monastery grounds. We arrived at the hotel 2 hours earlier than check in time, and found to our surprise that our room was ready for us. The receptionist Stepan was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and he pointed out some good areas to visit and things to... more

My partner and I recently spent 3 days in Prague celebrating his 40th birthday and we had a fantastic time, we wanted a quiet romantic hotel but near enough to travel to the main sights. The Residence Monastery Hotel was the perfect choice, the staff were really friendly and very helpful and we could not fault the service at all,... more
