Having stayed here a number of times previously I thought it a good place for a brief stay with a friend. We just returned from our DC trip and had a wonderful time in the capitol. The hotel was cleaned and staffs were friendly and resourceful. It is conveniently located close to Union Station and the Capital building. The Dubliner's is a great place to eat dinner or have a drink at night. My wife and I just stayed for two nights at the historic Phoenix Park Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating our 10th anniversary. The room was very charming and very clean with lovely furnishings and an incredibly comfortable bed. PPH is in a great location- if you take the metro in to Union Station, exit the station, turn right, walk down to the corner, and Phoenix Park is right there.
