I just returned from a trip that included two nights at the EconoLodge. The room was booked by a friend I was traveling with. I would have chosen another location, as you can get the Anaheim Plaza for around the same rate and it's a much shorter walk, bigger rooms, nicer pool, great gift shop, etc. In any case, I... more

This stay refers to the Econo Lodge at the Park on Katella Ave. I stayed here over Presidents weekend using my Choice Hotels points and found it to be an excellent value. The place was a little old, but it was a direct walk to disneyland. If you are planning on being in the park all day and just need... more

DON'T STAY HERE. After the third try (first two rooms were occupied - used the key and there was someone already in that room) .. there were BEDBUGS on both beds (see pictures attached). I took a cup full of these bugs down to the front desk where I demanded a refund and we left. GROSS. Don't do it. This... more
I tried to be frugal and book a plain, basic hotel room to sleep in on a quick weekend trip to Disneyland. My $79 room was COMPLETELY MOLDY! I assume the carpets had been cleaned/wet, then the room was sealed up for several days because the smell was everywhere. The bathroom wood and walls were completely spotted and disintegrated from... more
I stayed at this hotel November 2003. I was given a room with blankets and sheets thrown everywhere and went back to get a new room. The shower had hair in it. The Ice bucket had unknown hair in it and took the manager 30 minutes to get me a new one while I waited at the front desk for... more
Was there from Feb 12 to 13th 2004. Pleasant stay. The room was spacious and the bed, clean. What I liked most is the proximity to Disneyland and I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for the lodging. Spent approx $140 for the two nights. The owner is also warm and hospitable. Breakfast provided too but nothing... more
