This was the end of my Vietnam odyssey so with limited funds checked into the moderately priced Que Huong Liberty 3 for USD70 ++. Room decor pretty average although complimentary wifi, b'fast included in rate. Thought I was on a winner, until deciding to have a nap before heading back to the tailor who was furiously whipping me up my... more

the location is a bit far to walk to Ben Tanh market for the elderly. about 700-800 metres. there is only one lift which is very small and slow in the whole hotel. we were given room 407 which was terrible - refrigerator not working, toilet door lock damaged, flush not working. Had to insist on a change of room.... more

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. While in the backpackers area, which is quite interesting too, this is more like a three-star hotel. I stayed in three different types of rooms, cheapest (standard) was approx $70, the most expensive (junior suite) was $95. I found none of them to be especially good value compared to what i paid... more

Hard to find a mid-range room anywhere in Ho Chi Minh, so ended up booking this one through wotif. Ripped off badly - the the rooms are very average for US$75 and the place looks like a bombsite. Had to walk down the road to the Liberty 4 sister hotel for breakfast. Renovations have gutted the place and will take... more

This hotel is in the back packers district. Its a bit rough around the edges, brightly coloured fluffy nylon blankets on the bed, carpet on the floor. These sort of places always make me think who has been sitting on this prior to me!!I dont believe they was the blankets every time a guest leaves, just the sheets probably!! Not my... more

We booked this hotel via Expedia and stayed there for 4 nights in November. Note that this is one of the hotels where you dont pay Expedia up front but rather use them as a place holder. You pay the full rate when you arrive. We found the Que Huong 3 to be a very pleasant 3 star establishment. It... more

It's a big hotel in Vietnam's largest city and as such isn't charming or picturesque, but it is a friendly, comfortable hotel - great to book for the first few nights of your stay in Vietnam as you're adjusting to the country. Rooms were clean, staff were helpful (phoned to several (unafilliated!) hotels in the next place we were going... more

Loved the corner-room, with a balcony with a view of the busy street and the park. But as Vietnamese drivers use their horn more than their pedals, I would recommend getting completely [--] drunk and use earplugs, if you would like to sleep longer than 0530 in the morning. more

We booked this hotel online and took a superior room. When we ariived the hotel had a fancy lobby but we were greeted with a different price other then the one quoted by expedia, with a few minutes discussion and looking at our reservation online with the staff we gave up argueing and paid them the new price. As we... more

This hotel is located in an excellent part of Saigon. Close to the hustle and bustle of the tourist district and a 15 minute walk away from the big markets. A great range of touristy/ art shops nearby and some fantastic places to eat. The first room I checked into was incredibly noisy (on the 2nd floor) and the hotel... more
